Services offered:
- Books, materials, programs, and events for children, teens/youth, and adults. They offer homework help, Read On, Adult Literacy, movie screenings, and more at the library.
The Bookmobile provides mobile library services in the community. Website has more about program information and times
- Read On
- One-to-One Tutoring can help adults improve their reading, writing, spelling, grammar, and basic math up to a Grade 10 level. Each student will work with a tutor for approximately 1 hour a week. Tutoring may be done online through Zoom.
There is a $30 registration fee
- Classes focus on basic skills. Read On has reading, writing, math, computer, listening, and speaking classes. There are also classes to help individuals prepare for Canadian Citizenship and to be successful in the workplace.
There are course fees for the differing classes
- Learner Support Services are offered to adults who wish to talk about their learning needs and goals with Read On. Will help you to see ways to reach your goals with the program and other organizations.
- Books, Read On has a large number of books for adults written at different levels.
Library cards are currently free for the year of 2023
