Program Description

Supports are intended to reduce loneliness and social/cultural isolation among individuals under the age of 65 who live in continuing care centers and to assist these individuals to participate in their communities. The goal of the program is to reduce isolation and improve quality of life.

Where is the service provided?

Services are provided in the community in which the individual resides. Geographical boundaries are defined as west of Taber to the B.C. border and from Vulcan south to the U.S. border

How much will it cost?

There is no direct cost to individuals being served

How do I access this program?

Individuals are referred to CAPCC through care facility staff, family members, self and guardians
