The MHCHS manages 130 Affordable Housing Units throughout Medicine Hat. Households with stable low to modest incomes are appropriate for our Affordable (or below market) Housing Program.
Rental rates are set at a 10%-30% below the market rental rate for Medicine Hat. While parking, heat, water, waste removal, and sewer costs are included in the rent, tenants are responsible for electricity expenses and such items as cable and internet services (depending on location)
